AOC, Kaprain, and Spolchemie have reached an agreement on AOC acquiring the Unsaturated Polyester Resin (UPR) manufacturing operations located at the Spolchemie site in Usti nad Labem (Czech Republic). This footprint extension will allow AOC to further improve service and logistics to its customers in Central\/ Eastern Europe as well as in Germany, and will make new products (e.g. based on recycled PET) available for customers around Europe. The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) in Western Australia is improving the flying performance of its Pilatus single-engine PC-12 turboprop aircraft by transitioning its fleet to Hartzell\u2019s 105-inch diameter five-blade composite propellers from Hartzell four-blade aluminum propellers. RFDS Western Operations uses its aircraft for medical emergencies and patient transfers between medical facilities, over the last year travelling 8 million kilometers across Western Australia to reach 9,012 pat \u2026\u2026.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n

De\u2019Longhi Uses Polyethersulfone (PESU) by BASF in Coffee Machine<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Italian household appliance company De\u2019Longhi, Treviso, now uses Ultrason E 3010 MR to manufacture the upper piston of the brewing unit in its new coffee machine Magnifica Ecam 22. The high-performance thermoplastic Ultrason E 3010 MR is approved for food contact according to American and European specifications and contains no harmful substances. The polyethersulfone (PESU) by BASF contributes to the durability of the coffee maker by showing high heat and steam resistance up to 180\u00b0C, good \u2026\u2026.<\/p>\n

Creative Materials has introduced its 128-32 series of anisotropically conductive B-stageable silver-filled epoxy adhesives, which can be applied by screen-printing, dipping and syringe dispensing. The products feature good adhesion to a variety of metallic contact pad compositions, as well as other substrates. Applications for the series include conductive splicing of ribbon cables, electrical attachment of surface-mounted devices and bonding of flex circuits to PC boards and electroluminesc \u2026\u2026.<\/p>\n
