On the 22 and 23 October 2019, NetComposites will be opening the doors of the conference centre at Williams F1 in Oxfordshire, UK, to welcome participants to its brand new event \u2018Composites in Motorsport. Composites in Motorsport will welcome over 21 exhibitors and an impressive line-up of industry experts including keynote presentations from Brian O\u2019Rourke (Chief Composites Engineer \u2013 Williams F1) and Professor Willem Toet (Motorsport, F1 and Aerodynamics Specialist \u2013 Sauber Aerodynamics).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n

Williams F1 Conference Centre<\/strong><\/h4>\n

22 \u2013 23 October 2019<\/strong>The Motorsport industry has continuously been a primary adopter of innovative technology, motivated by the desire to decrease weight. Formula 1 has utilised lighter and stiffer materials for decades; in 1981 McLaren transformed the building of racing cars with the manufacture of F1\u2019s first carbon fibre monocoque.<\/p>\n

This event will take participants on a journey from initial design, manufacture, testing and through to the future of composites in the world of motorsport.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n
