Ece Boya Kimya has become an R&D CENTER!

Ece Boya Kimya which is a pioneer of coatings and resins industry has become an R&D Center. Ece Boya Kimya, which has received R&D Center Document given by Science, Industry and Technology Ministry excelled to be an official R&D Center in Turkey.

Okay Erdoğan, the President of Ece Boya Kimya emphasizing the importance of innovations and constant improvement with these words; “We develop new products according to new developments in the world and by anticipating our customers’ needs. We will continue to make difference by reflecting our vision to production with new plant in Gebkim”.

CES, which is one of the leading industrial composite manufacturers in aviation, defense and ballistic protection areas and which has continuously conducted innovation studies, has registered its innovative attitude as an R&D center by the end of application and inspection process evaluated by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology on 26 May 2017. With this responsibility, CES will continue to develop new technologies for Turkey’s defense force.

Having been established with 100% domestic capital and supported by the Acık Grup, CES has acquired all certifications including AS9100 for manufacturing in international quality standards in the field of defense and aviation in a short time and has completed its physical and technological infrastructure. CES has continued its production activities in modern composite manufacturing facilities founded on 17.000 m2 located in Ankara-Anadolu OSB since the beginning of 2017. The company, which received the investment award of ASO along with this investment, embraces the latest technologies in the field of advanced composites and is confidently proceeding to become one of the leading manufacturers of the International Aviation and Defense Industry. 

Furthermore, CES has started to manufacture its own branding in the field of personal ballistic protection equipment as of 2017 and has continued its permanently development studies for products that need to be strategically supplied locally such as vests, helmets, shields. 

Having continued to work with its own resources and the great support received from Acık Grup, CES will use the advantages of being an R&D Center to create added value in line with national interests and continue to increase its efforts to provide its customers with more innovative solutions.

Our Association has successfully carried out the JEC WORLD 2017 Paris Fair with the participation of a total of 45 Turkish companies including 26 companies and 19 independent exhibitors within the scope of the cooperation with the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) this year under National Participation Organization.

Within the framework of the National Participation Organization, Turkish companies have also had the opportunity to welcome their guests and promote their products in a contiguous plane and wider exhibition spaces. The increasing number of Turkish companies participating in the fair every year, which is performed in the excellent organization of ITO, has been an important indicator that Turkish composites and Turkish composite companies have steadily strengthened their place in the World Market. Turkey Composite Industry, which grew even further in 2016, had the chance to show its position once again on international level through the representatives attending the fair. Another indicator of this situation is the intense interest in our magazine and our Sectorial Catalogue in the fair where the 15th edition of “COMPOSITES TURKEY” Sectorial Magazine was distributed, which is the main publication of the Turkish Composite Sector.

This year, 40,607 people visited the JEC WORLD Fair, the number one Fair of the Composite Sector, and 78% of the participants were from 133 countries. The Turkish companies taking part in the most crowded composite fair held to date, thus had the opportunity to exhibit their activities all over the world.
