ALFEBOR GRP pipe fittings are developed for GRP pipes in accordance with international standards. They are used for gravity or pressure transport of irrigation water, potable water, waste water and sewage water. The raw materials required for the production of GRP pipes are supplied with certificates that are in compliance with the quality criteria determined by ALFEBOR. In addition, all raw materials and other materials that are input for production are subjected to sample tests. ALFEBOR also supplies Fiberglass Water Storage Tanks in parallel with the development and production of GRP pipes and products.
Established over a total area of 40,000 m2, 5,000 m2 of which is indoor area, ALFEBOR is located in Hatay province at a strategic location in the southernmost part of Turkey. 69 years ago, the production start out with single Camtray® product is developed to be able to manufacture various types of trays, display products, cam storage, insulated carriers and dish racks etc. Cambro besides enterprising in the service industry also continues to invest via new technology composites such as polyurethane pultrusion, SMC production techniques to people and business development.
Cambro’s pultrusion technique is the production of profiles by pulling glass fibres or non-woven through a mixture of polyurethane resin in a closed injection box (rather than polyester to resin pool) via certain geometry and angles. Pulling the soaked glass fibres after the polymerisation in the heating mould is the continuous profile production. Via the effective cooling unit the production is finalized. High-tech machine supported by fully automation, allows working with three moulds independent of each other or working with larger mould only. In this way, both narrow and wider profiles could be produced with respect to the desired wall thickness by high pulling velocity.
In the pultrusion department, besides its own pultrusion parts such as traverses and posts at shelving units, Cambro works with other potential composite consumer’s market requirements. Cambro’s biggest difference from other pultrusion companies is the production flexibility by the earned machine hour which is gained via the high speed of production.
Cambro’s pultrusion technique could be used as follows; Defence industry’s light and durable/stiff parts manufacturing. Products for construction parts, crane/vehicle chassis building and supporting parts production instead of iron/steel material due to the higher tensile modulus of the compound material, pultrusion products could be used widely. In transporting sector as the advantages of flame retardant/proof and light weight (automobile, bus, tractor, rail systems and aviation) property, such as; vehicle interior – exterior scuffs, air conditioning parts, warning poles, profiles etc. Good choice for high performance applications such as; wind turbines, solar panels etc. Due to water immersion ability; building piers, fish farming ponds, marinas, buildings etc. High chemical resistance allows the pultrusion products to be used in all kinds of chemical storage, waste, septic tanks, grill applications etc. Having a great electrical non-conductivity leads up the pultrusion products in the electrical-mechatronics sector and many other markets not mentioned above.
Another important matter is; products are appropriate for machining process which allows producing more complex parts rather than simple profiles at the end.

CSC MAKINA ELEKTRONIK is an engineering company founded in 1994. In 2010, the company has been transformed into a marine-oriented composite manufacturing company by 2nd generation. There are more than 20 years that CTP Kompozit focused its activities in the domain of composite plastics in particular on thermoset materials although it manufactures mainly the external attractive parts such as hoods, sun shields, fenders with finishing paintings in the tractor segment of automotive sector, it is also active in the manufacture of railways, automotive, electrical, lightening components and white goods sectors.

Gama Metalurji has entered the composite sector with Pultrusion Process in 2009. It serves its customers with different processes in the composite industry by opening its second plant in Izmit in 2014. It is operating in the production of epoxy matrix carbon fiber composites with the methods such as Pultrusion, Filament Winding, Hot Pressing, High Pressure Resin Transfer Molding etc. It can also perform CNC processing with GLASS programming to its 3-axis CNC machine as well as its 3-dimensional design capabilities. It can also work with Prepreg materials upon the customers’ requests. It has an experienced team in the production of components with carbon and epoxy, glass, aramid and polyester materials. With TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) projects it has completed successfully and the ongoing R & D project, it has established the Industry-University cooperations and applied the experiences gained as a result of R&D in its own production lines and used them in its own products. The main product groups are machineries runnig under high speed-running, dynamic load and high strength composite plates (over 3000 MPa) for building reinforcement against earthquake. The lines used in production are the company’s own production.

In 2018, Literatür Kimya worked and succeeded in SMC formulation that meets EN 45545 (Fire Protection on Railway Vehicles) standards. In August 2019, a new thermoset compound material trials are done, CF-SMC (Carbon Fibre-SMC). This is the first trial production in Türkiye and Literatür is planning to complete the trials and analysis of Epoxy Carbon Fibre SMC, Urethane Carbon Fibre SMC, Vinyl Ester Carbon Fibre SMC raw materials and will be at the service of its customers in the first half of 2020.
