KORDSA TECHNICAL TEXTILE INC.

Kordsa, a global player in the tire, construction reinforcement, and composite technologies markets, operates with 4,500 employees in 12 production facilities across 5 countries: Turkey, Brazil, Indonesia, Thailand, and the USA. With its vision of "Our Passion is Strengthening Life," Kordsa aims to create sustainable value by offering innovative reinforcement solutions with high added value to the communities in which it operates, together with all its stakeholders.
Today, Kordsa, which reinforces 1 out of every 3 car tires and 2 out of every 3 aircraft tires in the world, develops environmentally friendly products that reduce fuel consumption in the tire sector, while in the composite sector it develops technologies that make vehicles lighter and stronger, performing with less fuel consumption and lower carbon emissions. In the construction sector, it touches every aspect of life with more durable and practical reinforcement solutions for infrastructure and superstructure projects.
Kordsa, a leader in the tire reinforcement sector, continues to grow and expand its product portfolio and capabilities through investments in the composites business, which it entered in 2014 by opening the Composite Technologies Center of Excellence. In 2018, it strengthened its composite presence in North America with the acquisition of Fabric Development, Textile Products, and Advanced Honeycomb Technologies, establishing itself among the leading players in the aerospace industry. In 2019, it acquired Axiom Materials, a company that provides advanced composite materials to sectors including next-generation transportation vehicles and guides the composites market through its R&D efforts. This acquisition completed Kordsa's portfolio of advanced composite intermediate products, making it a leading player in the high-temperature resistant Oxide-Oxide ceramic composite market used in aircraft engines and further strengthening its presence in North America.
In addition to reinforcing the wings, fuselages, internal components, and engines of aircraft with its tires, Kordsa also supplies advanced composite materials to companies developing next-generation technologies. Expanding its market with thin-film and flexible electronics technologies, Kordsa continues its work primarily on next-generation flexible wearable health sensors, which are prominent in the healthcare sector.
The company, which provides critical technologies to strategic markets, continues its R&D activities with its technology development capabilities. Aware that value-added and sustainable growth is only possible through collaboration and technological differentiation, it produces efficient and sustainable projects that will change industry standards and address the needs of the future world, together with its stakeholders from both the industry and academia.
Kordsa continues its work with the vision of strengthening every aspect of life, making daily life more livable, easier and safer.
