TURKEY BUILD ISTANBUL 2019 Fair  will be held in Tüyap Istanbul between November 18th and 22d June, 2019. This year our following members will participate in.

Automechanika Istanbul 2019 Fair was held between 4 – 7 April 2019 in Istanbul Tuyap Fair, Convention and Exhibition Center. The Automechanika Istanbul 2019 Fair, where a total of 1397 participants met with 48,737 visitors from all over the world, resulted in record numbers. This exhibition brings together Turkish and European industry for the surrounding countries as well as for Turkey has become an important meeting platform. Our Association hosted its visitors at Hall 7, stand no. A149.

In the conference part of the event, our Secretary General İsmail Hakkı Hacıalioğlu made a presentation on “Automotive Sector and Composites: Present Situation and Expectations for the Future”.

The Association has once again organized participation in JEC WORLD 2019 Paris Fair –now an annual tradition–, of 32 names from Turkey, with 11 firms and 21 independent participants, within the framework of National Participation Arrangement with Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO).

Within the framework of National Participation Arrangement, Turkish firms had, once again the opportunity to entertain visitors and promote their products in a wider area, organized specifically for them. The participation of Turkish firms, through a splendid organization by İTO, is growing each year, and is now an important indicator of how Turkish composite industry and Turkish composite firms have strengthened their position on the global market.

Turkish Composite Industry had the opportunity to reflect its international position through extensive participation in the event. Yet another indicator of the industry’s strengths is the robust attention drawn by our promotional booklets and the “COMPOSITES TURKEY” magazine, the 21st issue of which was distributed at the event as the industry magazine of the whole Turkish Composites Industry.
Furthermore, on the last day of this year’s event, within the framework of the Country on Stage: Turkey program, we had the opportunity to share the strong, international and dynamic structure of the Turkish composites industry as well as the individual firms, with numerous guests attending the event. In this context, the opening address by Mr. Kerem Paksoy was followed by a presentation by Mr. Barış Pakiş talking about Turkish composites and their position in the wider world, culminating in a panel moderated by Mr. Nigel O’deo, and attended by Mr. Deniz Korkmaz, Mr. Uğur Üstünel, Mr. Berk Baltaoğlu, Mr. Ali Çamurdan, and Mr. İsmail Hakkı Hacıalioğlu, underlining the strengths of our industry in a Q&A session. The event attended by Mr. Görkem Barış Tantekin, Turkey’s Consul General in Paris, as well, was concluded with a closing address by Mr. Barış Pakiş.

We would like to voice our gratitude to Istanbul Chamber of Commerce for the chance to promote our industry on such an important platform, and note our determination to continue with our efforts to promote our industry ever more, based on our accumulating experience.
