The Composite Manufacturers Association (TCMA) is a non-profit civil society organisation representing the Turkish composite industry. Established on 18 May 2005, the Association aims to create a strong network of cooperation by bringing together raw material, semi-finished, intermediate and finished product manufacturers and suppliers, academic institutions and sectoral stakeholders under one roof.

TCMA carries out the following activities with the aim of supporting the development of the composite sector in Turkey and contributing to raising sectoral awareness:

Organising seminars, conferences, symposiums and technical tours to inform the public and official institutions,
Analysing sectoral issues and developing scientifically based, applicable solutions,
Communicating developments in the sector through regularly published newsletters,
Carrying out presentations and content development work to promote composite technologies,
Initiating efforts to establish a scientific basis for composite studies,
To work towards establishing and sustaining national and international quality standards,
To prepare visual and written documents on application examples and production techniques,
To develop domestic and international research/project collaborations in line with technical requirements,
To support technical research at universities, organise courses and seminars on glass fibre reinforced plastics, and offer scholarship opportunities,
To create a digital platform that provides members and the public with access to up-to-date information,
To organise training programmes for managers, technical staff and qualified personnel, and to award certificates of achievement and competence,
To monitor domestic and foreign literature in the field of composites, analyse technological developments and create a knowledge base.

To establish the Turkish composites sector as a global centre for design and production in line with circular economy principles; to foster collaboration and synergy among manufacturers, users, academic institutions and public authorities, thereby promoting sectoral awareness and innovative practices.

To be a pioneering centre where high value-added composite products (raw materials, intermediate products, final products) are designed and manufactured worldwide.
