Editor’s comment for November 2020

In the overall scheme of things, the past few weeks, compared to the past few months at least, have been pretty good.

Why? Because I’ve started getting out and about seeing customers again. That’s good for two main reasons: firstly, it means companies have got stuff to tell me about new products; and secondly, it proves that human beings can meet face to face, socially distanced of course, and actually communicate with one another. I never realised just how much I’ve missed this aspect of my job.

I really can’t see this infernal virus disappearing anytime soon. We don’t really know how to manage it, the Government is all over the place and the second wave that everyone was talking about months ago is upon us. Nope it’s going to be a case of living with it…
