TÜBİTAK ve British Council İkili İşbirliği Programı

“Kâtip Çelebi-Newton Fonu” çerçevesinde 2014 yılından itibaren yürütülen 2551 TÜBİTAK ve British Council İkili İşbirliği Programı kapsamında TÜBİTAK tarafından Türkiye ile Birleşik Krallık (İngiltere, Galler, İskoçya, Kuzey İrlanda)’taki araştırmacılar tarafından yürütülecek ortak araştırma projeleri desteklenecektir.

Ortak araştırma projesi önermek isteyen Türkiye’deki bilim insanlarının, projeyi birlikte gerçekleştirecekleri Birleşik Krallık’taki araştırma kuruluşlarında çalışan araştırmacı(lar) ile “proje ortağı” olarak anlaşmaları gerekmektedir. Tek taraflı proje başvuruları kabul edilmemektedir.

Composites in Rail Conference Rescheduled

Composites in Rail conference rescheduled to October 2020

The Composites in Rail conference has been postponed to 8-9 October 2020 due to Covid-19

[Bristol, UK, 21 April 2020] – AMI has announced that its Composites in Rail conference, due to take place in Berlin, Germany on 3-4 June, has now been postponed to 8-9 October 2020. The event will still take place at the Mercure Hotel MOA in Berlin, Germany. Uncertainty created by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) led to the decision to delay the event.

Jordaine Minchin, Conference Producer AMI Composites Portfolio, comments “Following consultation with speakers, exhibitors and attendees we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule the event. It’s a very challenging time, but we’re receiving lots of support from the industry and are looking forward to catching up in person at the event!”

The conference is returning to Berlin for the second edition following a successful launch in 2019. Attendee places will all be transferred to the new dates and most of the programme will remain the same. AMI will be working closely with event partners, National Composite Centre, to fill any gaps that appear in the agenda.

Speakers confirmed to return include Karim Slimani, from SNCF (Société nationale des chemins de fer français), Rocio Ruiz Gallardo from AIMPLAS, Frank ten Napel from Toray Advanced Composites and Eduardo de la Guerra from Talgo.

Çevreci Projelere Yönelik Para Ödüllü Yarışma

1994 yılında Rahmi M. Koç’un kurucu başkanlığında, Deniz Ticaret Odası ve ilgili paydaşların girişimiyle kurulmuş olan Deniztemiz Derneği (Turkish Marine Environment Protection Association – TURMEPA), Yıldız Holding ile işbirliği içerisinde ilan ettiği 2020 yılı “Sabri Ülker Çevre Ödülü” yarışmasına başvurular devam etmektedir. Ödül yarışmasının amacı; çevre kirliliği ile mücadeleyi özendiren, geliştiren, yenilikçi, halkın katılımını sağlayan ve gelecek nesillere yaşanabilir sağlıklı bir ülke bırakmayı amaçlayan, sürdürülebilir kalkınmaya ve sıfır atık prensibine önemli katkıda bulunan, iklim değişikliğine vurgu yapan ve bu konuda alınabilecek önlemlere ışık tutan, tüm canlıların ortak yaşamı olan gezegenimizin sağlıklı yaşlanmasını sağlayacak kişi ve/veya kurumların örnek çalışmalarını geniş kitlelere duyurmak ve bu konularda bilimsel çalışmalar yapanların önünü açmaktır. Sabri Ülker Çevre Ödülü, Yıldız Holding Yönetim Kurulu ve TURMEPA Yönetim Kurulu tarafından, doğal çevremizi korumak ve iyileştirmek amacıyla, arkasında tüzel destekçiler olmadan sahip olduğu fikri kendi kaynaklarıyla bir yere kadar somut hale getirmiş; araştırma veya uygulama safhasında mali olarak belli bir yerde tıkanmış ve alacağı teşvikle topluma ilham kaynağı olacak projesini ileriye taşımak isteyen kişi ve/veya kuruma verilir. 2020 yılı proje ödül yarışmasının teması “Çevre ve İnsan” olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu tema kapsamında uygun proje konu başlıkları ile ilgili aşağıda bilgi bulabilirsiniz. Proje sahibinden çalışmasını nihai bir ürün haline getirip bitirmemiş olması ya da ticari bir formata sokmamış olması (prototipi olması ya da pilot çalışmasının yapılmış olması), sosyal etkisi olan bir proje ise mevcut sosyal durumun çıktıları görüşme, anket, test, gözlem ya da öz değerlendirme mekanizmalarının kullanılması ile somut hale getirilerek raporlanmış olması beklenmektedir. Fikir aşamasındaki projeler değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır. Ödül yarışmasına aynı kurum ya da kişi, birden fazla proje ile başvurabilir.

Kimler başvurabilir?

  • Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nde yaşayan 18 yaşını doldurmuş T.C Vatandaşları, Akademisyenler, Araştırmacılar, Genç Girişimciler ve Öğrenciler
    • Kamu kurumları ödüle başvuramaz; ancak kamu kurumlarında çalışan bireyler, kendi adlarına geliştirdikleri bireysel projeleri ile başvurabilirler.
    • Özel ve Devlet Üniversitelerinde okuyan Öğrenciler, bölüm olarak ödüle başvuru yapabilir ancak projeye önceden maddi bir destek veya fon sağlandıysa ödül başvurusu kabul edilmez.

Uygun proje konusu başlıkları: Sabri Ülker Çevre Ödülü’nün başvuran projeler “Çevre ve İnsan” teması çerçevesinde, sıfır atık yaklaşımıyla aşağıdaki konu başlıklarını kapsamalıdır.

  • Sürdürülebilir su ve doğal kaynak kullanımı
  • Sürdürülebilir karbon ve enerji yönetimi
  • Sürdürülebilir atık yönetimi
  • Sürdürülebilir inovasyon
  • İklim değişikliği ve gezegenin sağlığı

Ödüller: Jüri, ödülün bir veya birden çok kişiye verilmesini kararlaştırabilir.

  • Para Ödülü: 100 bin TL (7337 sayılı veraset ve intikal kanununa göre vergi mükellefiyeti ödül kazanana aittir.)
  • Ödül Heykelciği
  • Ödül kazanan başvuru sahibinin ödül törenine katılım masrafları Yıldız Holding tarafından karşılanır.

Değerlendirme kriterleri:

  • Projenin Genel Kapsamı; Sorun Tanımı, Hedef Belirleme ve Çalışma Yöntemi
  • Sosyal Fayda
  • Projenin Ekonomik Katkısı
  • Çevresel Fayda (Sıfır Atık Yaklaşımıyla)
  • İnovatif Yaklaşım
  • Standartlaşma ve Yaygınlaştırma
  • Projenin Bütçelendirilmesi

Dikkat edilmesi gereken hususlar:

  • Ödülü kazanan, projenin başarıyla getirildiği mevcut durumun somut çıktısını ve ilgili başarı ölçütlerini ayrıntılı olarak açıklamalıdır. Projenin başarılı sayılması için ön prototipinin gerçekleştirilmiş olması beklenir. Başvuran, asıl prototip için destek istiyor olmalıdır. Prototipi gerçekleştirilmemiş projelerde ise, projenin geldiği aşamanın başarısını, üniversitelerden bilimsel referanslar ile açıklamakla yükümlüdür. Eğer sosyal etkisi olan bir proje ise, mevcut durumun soyut çıktıları görüşme, anket, test, gözlem ya da öz değerlendirme mekanizmalarının kullanılması ile somut hale getirilerek raporlanması beklenmektedir. Soyut sonuçlar genellikle katılımcının edindiği bilgi ve deneyimi; artan beceriler veya başarıları, gelişen kültürel farkındalık şeklinde raporlanarak sunulmalıdır. Proje sahibinden çalışmasını nihai bir ürün haline getirip bitirmemiş olması ya da ticari bir formata sokmamış olması beklenir. Projenin nasıl gelişeceğine dair dengeli bir bütçe planı da beklenir. Fikir aşamasındaki projeler değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır.
  • Başvuru dosyalarında verilen bilgi ve belgelerin doğruluğu, güncelliği ve üçüncü kişilerin haklarını ihlal etmediği yönündeki her türlü sorumluluk başvuruyu yapan kişi ve/veya kuruma aittir.
  • Ödül yarışmasına aynı kişi ve/veya kurum, birden fazla proje ile başvurabilir.
  • Ödül kazanamayan kişi ve/veya kurum, gelecek senelerde aynı proje ile yeniden başvurabilir.
  • Bir kez ödül kazanan kişi ve/veya kurum, daha sonraki yıllarda aynı proje ile Sabri Ülker Çevre Ödülü’ne başvuramaz.
  • Başvuru sahibi mücbir nedenlerden dolayı (hastalık, kaza, ölüm vb.) kazanmış olduğu ödülü alamayacak durumda ise, ödül tutarı yasal temsilcilerine verilecektir.
  • Bu ödüle layık görülen kişi ve/veya kurumdan, kazandığı ödülle, projesini geliştirmesi ve topluma yararlı olması hedeflenen bu çalışmayı yaygınlaştırması beklenmektedir.
  • Yıldız Holding ve TURMEPA, yarışma kapsamında veya kurumsal tanıtım amaçlı yapacağı iletişim çalışmalarında Sabri Ülker Çevre Ödülü alan projenin ismini, kapsamını, içeriğini ve görsel materyallerini kullanma hakkını süresiz olarak saklı tutar
