At the Techtextil 2022, Frankfurt, Textechno Herbert Stein GmbH & Co. KG, the experts for quality control systems, will show their latest testing instruments for industrial fibres, yarns, and composites. Please meet us in hall 12.0, booth 52.

We will demonstrate the following instruments:

As an accessory to Textechno’s automatic single-fibre tester FAVIMAT+ AIROBOT2, the single-fibre pull-out-test system FIMATEST determines the fibre-to-matrix adhesion. In combination with the fibre embedding station FIMABOND the FIMATEST has already won international innovation awards. The FAVIMAT+ AIROBOT2 is an automatic linear-density and tensile tester for single fibres (including carbon, aramid, glass and UHMWPE) with tensionless storage of up to 500 single fibres. A new feature of the FIMATEST is the contact-angle measurement, which provides information about the diameter and the dynamics of the bonding process via the contact angle.

A further highlight is Textechno’s new wrap reel for yarns and reinforced fibres TEXREEL. This reel allows simultaneous preparation of up to 6 skeins of yarns and rovings for count measurement (tex), including carbon and glass fibers and rovings. TEXREEL is equipped with a microcontroller to set the sample length, acceleration and winding speed. Textechno offers suitable standard and custom-tailored creels on request.
