Girişimciliğin ve KOBİ’lerin desteklenmesinde ulusal, bölgesel veya yerel düzeydeki iyi uygulamalar Avrupa Girişimciliği Teşvik Ödülleri ile 2006 yılından beri ödüllendirilmektedir. Avrupa Komisyonunun sponsorluğunda 2006 yılından beri düzenlenen Avrupa Girişimciliği Teşvik Ödülleri yarışmasına Avrupa Birliği’nin 27 üye devleti ile COSME programındaki Arnavutluk, Bosna Hersek, Kosova, Karadağ, Kuzey Makedonya, Sırbistan, Türkiye, Ermenistan, Moldova, Ukrayna ve İzlanda katılabilmektedir.

Programın amacı işletmeleri ve girişimciliği en başarılı şekilde teşvik edenleri belirlemek, en iyi girişimcilik uygulamalarını ve politikalarını sergilemek ve paylaşmak, girişimcilerin rolü hakkında Avrupa çapında farkındalığı artırmak ve potansiyel girişimcilere ilham vermek ve cesaretlendirmektir. 2011 yılından itibaren ödül programının Türkiye’de duyurulması ve Türkiye’den 2 aday belirlenerek Komisyona bildirilmesi konusunda KOSGEB görevlendirilmiş bulunmaktadır.

Gurit reported net sales of CHF 467.9 million for the full year 2021. Gurit achieved an operating profit of CHF 23.4 million (5.0% of net sales).
