It all started with a single factory in California. Cambro, It has grown into an international organization with manufacturing facilities and sales offices in the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. However, the vision that guided it from the beginning has never changed: "To produce and offer the most innovative, durable, and high-quality products.".
Starting 69 years ago with a single product called Camtray® Cambro Today, it produces a wide variety of trays, table service and display products, storage racking systems, insulated conveyor products, as well as innovative dishwashing systems. It not only invests in the food service industry but also continues to invest in people and processes through polyurethane pultrusion and SMC production techniques.
Cambro's pultrusion technique involves producing profiles by passing glass fibers through a mixture of polyurethane resin (instead of polyester) with a specific geometry and angle, and then pulling them through a hot mold. In this method, glass fiber yarns or felts are wetted with resin, then polymerized by heat inside the mold, and continuously pulled to produce endless profiles, which take their final shape after cooling. Supported by high-tech machinery and full automation, it can operate with three molds independently or use a single large mold. This allows for the rapid production of both narrow and wide profiles while maintaining a constant wall thickness.

Cambro's pultrusion technique is used in many areas, including: producing lightweight and strong parts for the defense industry; in construction and crane support parts due to its strength; in the transportation sector (automobiles, buses, trucks, rail systems, and aviation) for its fire resistance and lightness, such as interior and exterior vehicle wraps, air conditioning ducts, warning poles, and profiles; in structures requiring construction outdoors, in water, and under harsh weather conditions due to its corrosion resistance, such as wind turbines, piers, fish farms, marinas, and building facades; in all kinds of chemical storage, waste, septic tank, and grate applications due to its chemical resistance; and in the electrical-mechatronics sector due to its electrical insulation and lightness. Because the resulting products can be machined on lathes and milling machines, it is possible to manufacture parts in more complex shapes rather than just flat profiles, and there are no limits to the coloring possibilities.
