Regarding TÜBİTAK's support for METYX.

ABOUT METYX'S INVESTMENT IN HUNGARY

In 2020, TÜBİTAK added a new format to its support for outstanding projects, announcing that it would provide grant support to R&D projects that could quickly be transformed into products and have high commercialization potential through a "Ordered R&D" call. METYX responded to this call by developing an innovative new product group, which it had been developing in its own R&D center for some time, along with its production line.

Regarding TÜBİTAK's support for METYX.

After meticulously reviewing projects submitted from across the country, it was announced that some of Türkiye's largest companies, from Aselsan and Aygaz to Ford and Tofaş, would also benefit from this prestigious support along with METYX.

METYX will receive a grant of approximately 2,000,000 TL for the design and manufacturing of its production line at TÜBİTAK MARMARA TEKNOKENT.

METYX will collaborate with PAK ARGE, which is conducting the research. METYX and PAK ARGE received a special achievement award in 2020 for their TÜBİTAK TEYDEB R&D project. Mass production of this innovative product group, which will enable composite parts in sectors such as automotive, energy, and marine to be more durable, is planned. The new line, which will also increase the use of METYX products in value-added composite manufacturing, will be ready for production after the automation and control system software is developed and field tests are conducted.

METYX Composites' technical fabrics, produced in its four factories located in three countries (America, Hungary, and Turkey), are widely used in many industries. The company, which employs approximately 1000 people worldwide and is one of Türkiye's top 1000 industrial companies, aims to increase its market share in the advanced composites sector with this new high value-added product group.
