2532 – TÜBİTAK – RFBR Joint Project Call

Joint research projects will be supported within the framework of the renewed Cooperation Protocol dated November 8, 2018, and the Call for Proposals Agreement dated May 22, 2020, between the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR).

Scientists in Türkiye who wish to propose a joint research project must agree with researcher(s) working at research institutions in Russia to be their “project partners.” Unilateral project applications will not be accepted.

Applications submitted under the Joint Project Call will be supported in the following priority thematic areas:

  • Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering;
  • Physics (including but not limited to Aviation, Space and Energy) and Astronomy;
  • Chemistry and Materials Science;
  • Biology;
  • Earth Sciences;
  • Information Technologies and Computer Systems;
  • Fundamentals of Engineering Sciences;
  • Fundamentals of Medical Sciences;
  • Fundamentals of Agricultural Sciences;
  • History, Archaeology, Anthropology, and Ethnology;
  • Economy;
  • Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Law, History of Science and Technology, Philosophy of Science;
  • Literature and Linguistics, Art Studies;
  • Social Issues in Psychology, Fundamental Problems of Educational Science, Public Health, and Human Environmental Science;
  • Global Studies and International Relations

Application Deadline: September 8, 2020

For research teams in Türkiye involved in successful projects, TÜBİTAK will provide a maximum of [amount] TL, excluding institutional share and project incentive bonus, for the duration of the project. 720,000 TL Research support will be provided. Maximum project duration. 36 months It is possible.
