Regarding Additional Customs Duty

According to Presidential Decree No. 2565, published in the Official Gazette dated May 20, 2020, and numbered 31132, additional customs duties have been imposed on a group of products, including some plastic products and plastic processing machinery registered under HS codes 3917, 3918, 3919, 3923, and 847710 (plastic pipes, plastic floor coverings, self-adhesive sheets, films, tapes, foils and strips, plastic goods transport packaging, and injection molding machines). The additional customs duties specified in the table in Annex 2 of the Decree will be applied from the date of publication until September 30, 2020, while the additional customs duties specified in the table in Annex 1 will be valid as of October 1, 2020.

For goods that were loaded and for which a transport document was issued for shipment to Türkiye before the publication date of the Decision, the additional customs duty rate specified in Annex-1 of the Decision will be collected if the import customs declaration is registered within 15 days from the publication date.
