Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant Project Tender Processes
The construction of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant began with the intergovernmental agreement signed between our country and Russia in 2010, and construction activities accelerated with the issuance of Construction Licenses for the first unit in April 2018 and for the second unit in August 2019.
Tenders for the power plant are organized by the Project Company, Akkuyu Nuclear Inc., and the main contractor, Titan 2 IC İçtaş İnşaat Inc., in accordance with the rules of the Russian state nuclear company Rosatom.
To assist and inform Turkish firms wishing to participate in tenders regarding tender applications, the main contractor has established a Supplier Relations Unit in Istanbul and launched an information hotline. The Supplier Relations Unit plans to continuously answer questions from Turkish firms via this information hotline and corporate email.
