Aksa Kompozit Invests $5 Million in Aviation Sector in Tunisia

Aksa Kompozit, a subsidiary of Akkök Holding, is preparing to establish a new facility in Tunisia to produce advanced composite parts for the aviation industry. The investment, estimated at approximately $5 million, will create a 3,000 m² indoor production area at Technopole Borj Cedria.
The company, established under the name Aksa Tunisie Aéronautique, aims to begin operations in 2028 following construction, machinery installation, and necessary qualification processes. Tunisia's developing aviation manufacturing infrastructure, skilled technical workforce, and proximity to European markets were influential factors in the investment decision.
The new facility aims to expand Aksa Kompozit's production capabilities on an international scale and strengthen its position in the global aerospace supply chain. The company also plans to develop collaborations with public institutions, industrial organizations, and educational institutions in Tunisia.
