| Services Exports Generated a Surplus of $28 Billion in 10 Months |

| Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan stated, "In the first 10 months of 2019, we achieved a service trade surplus of $28 billion, representing a 22 percent increase compared to the same period of the previous year.".
“The ”Service Exporters Meeting and 2018 Service Exporters Association (HİB) Award Ceremony” was held at the Istanbul Congress Center with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Speaking at the event, Pekcan stated that countries that keep pace with the major transformation in the global economy and develop and implement policies that increase their competitiveness will be able to remain competitive in trade.
Pekcan stated that they, as a country, formulate all their policies with this awareness, and that they are making steady progress towards an economy based on investment, production, and exports.

Textile Technologies from EVTEKS
Great Opportunity for Producers
EVTEKS – Istanbul International Home Textile Fair, one of the two largest home textile and decoration fairs in the world, is opening its doors for the 26th time this year. The fair, which will be held at the CNR Expo Istanbul Exhibition Center, will be organized across 11 halls and an area of 150,000 square meters. EVTEKS will bring together more than 1,100 home textile companies with over 90,000 domestic and international visitors from 120 countries.
Within the scope of the "Support for Sector-Specific International Domestic Fairs" program of the Turkish Ministry of Trade, EVTEKS, which is supported again in 2020, will dedicate one hall entirely to TEXTILE MACHINERY MANUFACTURERS. This special area, which will host professional visitors from Europe, Asia, the Middle and Far East, the Commonwealth of Independent States, North Africa, and America, will also include exhibitors showcasing their products in other halls of the fair as its potential customer base.
