Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan announced that the period during which exporters can benefit from special (green) passports has been extended from 2 years to 4 years.
Pekcan stated in a post on her Twitter account that approximately 7,000 more exporters have gained the right to a special stamped passport by lowering the minimum average export amount required in the last three years from $1 million to $500,000.
