In order to ensure the reuse of packaging materials resulting from the consumption/use of goods and/or materials delivered to consumers and/or users in reusable packaging, a deposit management system shall be established in accordance with the principles determined by the Ministry. If approval is obtained from the Ministry, a GEKAP declaration will be submitted for packaging placed on the market to be collected back within the scope of the deposit system, but no GEKAP payment will be made.. For amounts released into the market under the deposit scheme but not collected back, a recycling participation fee will be paid.
An example related to this topic is given below:

A deposit scheme plan prepared by legal entity (X) in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by the Ministry has been submitted to the Ministry and approved by the Ministry, and a code number (…./….) has been assigned to the deposit scheme via the information system. The quantities of packaging placed on the market by legal entity (X) under the deposit scheme but not collected will be checked via the Ministry's information system, and the quantities of packaging not collected by the end of the year will be declared in the following recycling participation declaration period, and the recycling participation fee will be paid.”
