Environmental Labeling System Product/Service Category
In an official letter sent from the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), it was stated that a national environmental labeling system has been established in our country with the Environmental Labeling Regulation, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 19.10.2018 and numbered 30570 and entered into force; and that the criteria for the ceramic, textile and cleaning paper product groups were published on the Ministry's website on 13.05.2019.https://cevreetiketi.csb.gov.tr/It has been announced that applications for environmental labeling have started to be accepted.
To contribute to the effective implementation of the Turkish Environmental Labeling System, an "Environmental Labeling Survey" has been prepared. The information obtained from the survey will be evaluated and used in the development of the system. In this context, we expect the participation of our valued sector representatives in the survey.
