EuCIA held the EOLIAN Project M18 General Assembly in Türkiye.

EuCIA, the leading organization of the European composites industry, participated in the M18 General Assembly of the EOLIAN project, which develops sustainable and renewable wind turbine blade solutions. The meeting November 25, 2025 The event took place in Istanbul on [date], hosted by Zorlu Enerji, the project's Turkish partner.
On the agenda;
- Development of vitrimer composite materials based on dynamic covalent bonds,
- Multiscale modeling and characterization of vitrimer chemistry,
- Sensor integration and maintenance-operation methods for early detection of structural damage in wings,
- Scaling up vitrimer production and wind turbine blade demonstrator manufacturing,
- Recycling and reuse assessments of materials at the end of their service life, sustainability analyses, life cycle assessment (LCA), and risk analyses.,
- Dissemination and implementation strategies.
The EOLIAN project aims to develop more sustainable, efficient, and environmentally friendly solutions in the wind energy sector with bio-based, repairable, and recyclable vitrimer composite blades. EuCIA is responsible for disseminating research in this area and sharing experiences with industry stakeholders.
