Free Mentoring Support for SMEs
Sabancı University Inovent Inc., within the scope of the TÜBİTAK-supported BİGGMentor project, will provide free mentorship support to SMEs that have completed at least one TÜBİTAK TEYDEB-supported project. The main purpose of the mentorship support is to provide expert assistance from industry professionals to companies that have completed at least one TÜBİTAK project but are experiencing difficulties in commercialization or the sustainability of their R&D activities. Industry professionals who will provide mentorship will be selected from a Mentor Pool created within the framework of criteria determined by TÜBİTAK. The second event (introductory webinar) within the scope of the program will be held online on Friday, April 10, 2020, at 14:30. To participate in the program and the introductory webinar, it is necessary to fill out the form linked below. Companies that registered for the 1st Introductory Webinar held on March 31, 2020, but could not attend the event, only need to inform the Sabancı University representative whose contact information is below via email.
- The deadline to register for the introductory webinar is Wednesday, April 8, 2020 (Tomorrow!); at 23:59.
The deadline to apply for mentorship support is Thursday, April 30, 2020.

Who can apply?
Businesses with SME status that meet the following conditions:
- Having successfully completed a TÜBİTAK – TEYDEB (1501, 1507, 1509, 1511 or 1512) supported R&D Project within the last 10 years.
- The output of the TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB supported R&D project should be a product that can be brought to market (it is expected that it should not be an internal project or developed based on a one-off request).
- Introductory Webinar: To participate, please fill out the form linked above. Companies that registered for the 1st Introductory Webinar held on March 31, 2020, but were unable to attend, should inform the Sabancı University representative whose contact information is provided below via email.
- Date: Friday, April 10, 2020
- Time: 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
- Location: Zoom, an online platform. (Webinar access links will be sent via email to registered companies.)
The goals to be pursued with mentor support are: In SMEs participating in the program;
- Increase in Commercial Maturity Level (e.g., companies in the product development phase making sales, companies with sales revenue diversifying into markets, exporting, etc.)
- Increase in R&D and Innovation Capacity (e.g., ensuring the continuity of innovation activities, conducting innovation activities institutionally, etc.)
Opportunities that can be provided to companies participating in the BİGGMentor program: Details of the services and facilities to be provided within the program will be shared with participants in the Introductory Webinar.
