2. SASAD – Başkent University “Defense Industry Quality Improvement” Certificate Program
Information regarding Başkent University's "Defense Industry Quality Development" Certificate Program, provided by SASAD, is presented below and in the Appendix for your information.

Dear Sir/Madam,
- Given the well-known importance of our defense industry, which continues to develop within the framework of domestic and national principles, for our country, we have prepared this in cooperation with Başkent University. “"Defense Industry Quality Improvement"” Certificate Program It will start on March 16, 2019. It will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM for four weeks.
- The aim of the training is to enhance the technological readiness levels of stakeholders in line with the objective of increasing national competitiveness, and to provide professional and personal development within the scope of technology acquisition and appropriate market selection.
- Participants will be entitled to receive an internationally valid e-certificate of achievement issued by Başkent University BEDAM.

- The project leader, Dr. Mustafa Kemal Topcu, holds a doctorate in "Defense Management" and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the International Defence Resource Management Congress organized by the Romanian National Defence University, and a member of the Advisory Board of the International Defence Resource Management Journal.

3. SASAD – Honda Foundation 2019 Awards
By the Honda Foundation “"Ecotechnology"” Information regarding the award, which will be given to individuals and/or organizations with significant contributions in the field (innovative activities or activities that make a significant contribution to human life), is included in the Appendix.

4. SASAD – Regarding Products Sourced from Japan
According to the letter received from SASAD;
The Republic of Türkiye and Japan Given the increasing trade volume between the two countries over the years, and the ongoing efforts of the Presidency of Defence Industries to strengthen the positively developing relations between the two countries in the fields of civil or defense aviation, the Presidency of Defence Industries requests that information be provided to the Presidency of Defence Industries regarding products planned to be procured from Japan in the fields of civil or defense aviation, or products for which problems are currently being encountered in the procurement process.

5th SASAD – E-PTT Integration Services Introduction and Protocol Signing Ceremony
Considering that SaSaD members should also benefit from the E-PTT Integration Services provided by the PTT General Directorate to institutions and organizations in various sectors, a mutual agreement has been reached between the two organizations to sign a protocol and provide detailed information about the services.
The scope of services includes e-invoicing, e-archiving, e-ledger, e-delivery note, and e-ticketing, and can be integrated into existing ERP systems if required. The fact that these services can be provided by a national organization is also of great importance as it will address the information security concerns of our sector. As per the protocol, the parties have also agreed to provide SaSaD members with a significant discount on list prices.
SASAD stated that inviting and having companies participate in the event would be beneficial.
It was stated that including responsible/authorized personnel from the Finance and IT departments among the participating staff would facilitate decision-making.
