Taiwan has achieved rapid and surprising growth in a short period of time, becoming one of the world's major economies today. Its average growth rate over the last 30 years is around 1 TP3T8. With total exports exceeding imports, Taiwan's trade volume, according to 2019 data, is approximately $615 billion, placing it just below the G20 level. Our bilateral trade relations with Taiwan, one of the major economies of East Asia, are at a significant level, and our industries are complementary.
