MARTERA 2021 Call for Proposals is Now Open
MARTERA (Maritime and Marine Technologies for a new Era) is an Era-Net Cofund project supported under the Horizon 2020 Programme. The main objective of the project is to strengthen the European Research Area in the maritime and marine sectors within the framework of Blue Growth, a long-term strategy within the European Union to support sustainable growth in the maritime and marine sectors. Realizing the European research and innovation agenda in the maritime sector requires broad and systematic cooperation across all areas, including surface transport, offshore activities, marine resource management, maritime security, biotechnology, descalation, offshore oil and gas activities, fisheries, and aquaculture. Because research and innovation activities in these areas are too comprehensive to be addressed at the national level or within a single sector, the MARTERA project's 2021 call for proposals chose to focus on technology areas rather than sectors. These areas are listed below.
• Environmentally friendly maritime technologies,
• Innovative concepts for ships and marine structures,
• Sensor, automation and tracking technologies,
• Advanced manufacturing,
• Security.
Companies/researchers are funded by their respective funding organizations in their home countries. Companies/researchers based in our country will be supported within the framework of the "TÜBİTAK 1071 Support Program for Increasing the Capacity to Benefit from International Research Funds and Participation in International R&D Collaborations".

Failure to comply with the application guidelines may result in the application being returned without being evaluated.
