(OPINA) Start-Up Workshop, May 28, 2021
Open Innovation Autonomous Vehicle Development and Testing Platform Project (OPINA) , OPINA is an open innovation project funded by the European Union, implemented under the leadership of Istanbul Okan University, which has a leading research infrastructure in this field in Turkey, with the aim of becoming one of the most important autonomous vehicle development centers in Europe, in partnership with MARKA (Eastern Marmara Development Agency), TAYSAD (Turkish Automotive Suppliers Association), TESİD (Turkish Electronics Manufacturers Association), and YASAD (Software Manufacturers Association). The project aims to support innovative SMEs, start-ups, R&D companies, academics, and researchers in the development, prototyping, integration, and testing of connected and autonomous vehicle software.
Open Innovation Autonomous Vehicle Development and Testing Platform Project (OPINA) in the scope of, A live online workshop, accompanied by an international panel, will be held on May 28, 2021.
The virtual sessions at the OPINA workshop will focus on the support to be provided to startups through the OPINA project and what more can be done within the scope of the OPINA project in the future. The workshop will feature live panel sessions with international industry leaders, as well as presentations from companies in the European and Turkish startup ecosystems that utilize Connected Autonomous Vehicles (CAV), Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and Collaborative Connected Autonomous Mobility (CCAM) technologies.
