Polymer Materials Training for Mechanical Engineers

Mechanical engineers are engineers who produce and train for the plastics industry.

Its inclusion in the system has been requested by our sector representatives.

This issue requires training, and the Istanbul Branch of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO) of the Union of Turkish Chambers of Engineers and Architects (TMMOB) is involved.

Our Plastics Materials and Processing Technologies (PIT) committee has been tasked with this mission.

During the studies that started in 2019, the relevant professional committees of ISO and ITO,

PAGEV and PLASFED/PAGDER managements have been informed.

Work has resumed after addressing the disruptions experienced during the pandemic.

Our commission, our Chamber of Mechanical Engineers In-Service Training Center (MİEM), and our esteemed academics

With their contributions, the "Polymer Materials Training" program was prepared.

The recommended training duration for mechanical engineers is 15 hours.

Announcements will be made and classes will begin in the Fall 2021 semester.

The training program and curriculum are presented in the appendix to this document.
