IN INTERNATIONAL AMENDMENT TO THE PROCESSING REGIME CIRCULAR (EXPORT: 2006/12)
NOTIFICATION REGARDING IMPLEMENTATION (EXPORT: 2020/18)
ARTICLE 1 – The following temporary article has been added to the Inward Processing Regime Circular (Export: 2006/12), published in the Official Gazette dated 20/12/2006 and numbered 26382.
“Inland applications for extensions of time regarding processing authorization documents/inward processing authorizations”
TEMPORARY ARTICLE 36 – (1) In order to meet the export commitments of firms that cannot fulfill their export commitments due to the new coronavirus (Covid 19) pandemic experienced worldwide, an additional period not exceeding half of the original period of the document/permit will be granted to the inward processing authorization documents/inward processing permits issued before the date of entry into force of this article, whose export commitment account has not yet been closed, and to the inward processing authorization documents/inward processing permits whose export commitment account has been closed with a penalty but the penalty has not been collected, at least partially, provided that an application is made to the Ministry within 6 (six) months from the date of entry into force of this article, starting from the date the application is deemed appropriate.”
ARTICLE 2 – This Communiqué enters into force on the date of its publication.
ARTICLE 3 – The Minister of Trade shall execute the provisions of this Communiqué.
