Call for Project Proposals for Technology Supplier SMEs

KOSGEB has announced the 2020 calls for proposals under the SME Development (KOBIGEL) Support Program. The aim of the call, outlined below, is to expand the inventory of domestic and competent digital technology developer SMEs and to support technology developer SMEs in the electronics, IT, and machinery manufacturing sectors that develop products and solutions related to smart digital technologies. These SMEs will be encouraged to make value-added improvements to their products/software that incorporate one or more of the eight digital technologies related to the manufacturing industry, and/or to commercialize their developed products/software. To benefit from this support, SMEs must submit a "Letter of Intent to Purchase" from at least one potential buyer of the product/software, provided that the company maintains accounting records on an accrual basis and had net sales revenue exceeding 500,000 TL in either 2018 or 2019. Applicants submitting projects solely for commercialization (promotion – marketing – sales) purposes must provide documentation proving that they have successfully developed their products with public support or that their products are the output of a Technology Development Zone or R&D Center project. This documentation requirement will not apply to applicants whose work packages include value-added improvements. Businesses whose projects supported under the KOBIGEL Program have not yet been finalized with a Board Decision (until the final application deadline) cannot apply for this call for proposals.
